Finger licking Aam Katla

Ingredients:

  1. 6 pieces of Rohu fish (Katla)
  2. 1 medium size green mango (chopped)
  3. 1 tsp ginger paste.
  4. 1 tsp turmeric powder.
  5. 2 tsp cumin powder.
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds.
  7. 2 dry red chilies.
  8. 4-5 green chili.
  9. ½ tsp sugar.
  10. 2 tbsp. mustard oil.
  11. Salt to taste.

Method:

  • Rub salt & turmeric powder on the fish pieces.
  • Add mustard oil in a non-stick pan, heat it & fry the pieces of fish on a medium heat.
  • Add cumin seeds & dry red chilies into the same oil.
  • Add the chopped green mango & cook for 2 min.
  • Add turmeric powder, ginger paste & cumin powder.
  • Add 3 tbsp. of water & saute the mixture for 2-3 min.
  • Add 1 cup of water & cook by covering it till mangoes are become soften.
  • Add salt & sugar in the fried fishes & sprinkle garam masala powder on it.
  • Cook covered for 2 min.
  • The recipe is ready to serve. Enjoy it.
