- 3 cups boiled jack fruit.
- ½ cup gram flour (Besan).
- ½ tsp green chili paste.
- 2 tsp ginger paste.
- 2 tsp cumin & coriander powder.
- 1 cup oil.
- 1 cup chopped onion.
- 2 tsp onion paste.
- 1 tsp turmeric powder.
- 1 tsp sugar.
- 1 tsp garam masala.
- 1 bay leaf.
- 1 tsp red chili powder.
- ½ tsp Kashmiri chili powder.
Method:
Step 1:
- Take a deep bowl & smashed the boiled jack fruit.
- Add gram flour (besan), green chili paste, ginger paste, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt & mix very well to form a dough.
- Divide the dough & make it a ball in shape.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan & deep fry on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from all sides.
Step 2:
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan & add bay leaf & chopped onion.
- Add the coriander powder, red chili powder, Kashmiri chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger paste & mix well.
- Add the tomatoes, salt, sugar & mix well & cook on 3 min.
- Add ¾ cup of water & cook on a medium flame for 10 min.
- Add the prepared jack fruit koftas & garam masala powder.
- Cook on a medium flame for 2 min.
