Yummy & Tasty Muri Ghonto

Ingredients:

  1. One fish head of rohu (katla).
  2. 4 tbsp gobindo bhog rice.
  3. 2 big potatoes cut in cube shape.
  4. 1 onion thinly chopped.
  5. 2 tsp ginger & garlic paste.
  6. 2 tsp sugar.
  7. 1 dry red chili.
  8. 1 bay leaf.
  9. 2 tbsp whole garam masala.
  10. 1 tsp cumin powder.
  11. 2 tsp turmeric powder.
  12. 1 tsp garam masala powder.
  13. Salt to taste.

Method:

  • Marinate the fish head with turmeric powder & salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan & fry the marinated fish head well till it turns brownish & keep it aside after frying.
  • Into the same oil add potato, onion & keep frying.
  • Add rice & fry some more time.
  • Add garlic, ginger paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder & garam masala.
  • Add salt & sugar.
  • Mix well & fry some time.
  • Add water & cook it by covering 10 min on a low flame till rice & potatoes are cooked.
  • Finally add fish head & mix well.
  • The recipe is ready to serve. Enjoy it.
