Ingredients: Potatoes,boiled , peeled and mashed 7-8 medium Mustard oil 2 tablespoons Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon Green garlic,chopped 3-4 cloves Green chillies,chopped 2-3 Spring onions,chopped 3 Salt to taste Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Spring onion greens,chopped 2 stalks Method: Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, green garlic and green chillies and sauté for a minute. Allow the tempering to cool. In a bowl mix mashed potatoes with spring onions. Add the tempering and mix well. Add salt, red chilli powder and mix well.   Ingradiants:  Hilsa (ilish),½ inch thick darnes 1 medium • Mustard seeds 1/2 cup • Salt • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon • Green chillies 2 • Oil 4 tablespoons • Potato,cut into fingers 1 large • Onion seeds (kalonji) 1/4 teaspoon Method: Wash fish pieces and marinate with salt and turmeric powder and set aside for ten to fifteen minutes. Grind mustard seeds with green chillies to a fine paste using water as required. Heat oil in a pan and lightly fry the marinated fish pieces on both sides till lightly browned.
